Altitude Events are based on the Surrey/Sussex border but our Giant Buzz Wires are available for hire to venues and events throughout East Sussex, West Sussex, Kent, Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire, Essex, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and London. Altitude Events have 3 sizes of Buzzwires available to hire – the largest free-standing ones known as Beat the Bleep and a smaller tabletop or desktop version. Plus we now have this BRAND NEW Megawire Buzzwire which features an onboard timer too! The Megawire Buzzwire also has changeable difficulty with the wand size. There is over 12ft of tube to try and move your wand along with setting off the Buzzer.
The Megawire Buzz Wire stands at 4ft tall and is 4ft wide. Players must try and get the wand from one end of the metal frame to the other without the dreaded buzzer going off! How steady are your hands… Giant Buzzwire hire is perfect for Corporate Events, Team Builds, Exhibition Stands, Weddings, Evening Events and Private Parties alike, there are just so many possible uses for this traditional and popular game.

Giant Buzzwires have no age limits either. Provided children are tall enough to hold the wand and reach the tops of the metal frame then they can give it a try. The Megawire requires a mains power supply. It can be used indoors or outside (though it must be set up undercover if it’s raining). The Megawire Giant Buzzwire has 2 different wand sizes to allow the difficulty level to be changed very easily.
All Giant Buzzwire hire packages include £10 million PLI and risk assessments.
Please note that we have a minimum hire fee of £400 + VAT. We usually only hire Buzzwires as part of packages rather than individually.

The Megawire Buzzwire is a one-player game.
Players must be tall enough to play. Anyone deemed to be in an ‘unfit’ state to play due to the influence of alcohol or drugs may be turned away.
Yes, it can be providing it is undercover if it is a wet day and there is access to mains power nearby.
The Megawire Buzzwire is suitable for Indoor events. Please see specifications tab for unit and space dimensions. Please let us know whether there are long distances to carry it or any steps/stairs/lifts/doorways etc to navigate with the equipment as complicated setup routes may increase set up time or require additional staff which will increase the hire costs.
Yes the Megawire will require access to a mains power supply.
Other than providing an area to set up on, we supply everything required to run the game, including cables and possibly also an operator/scoreboard depending on the booking.
Depending on the ease of access, the Megawire Buzzwire will take our staff approximately 15mins to set up.
This will be dependent on the type of event and what other games are hired but it will always be clearly stated in our quotes. If included/needed our staff will remain with the game throughout your event. They will give all players a briefing of how the game works and run each game for you, recording scores/times where necessary.
Buzzwires are very safe. Where applicable, sessions are run by fully trained and experienced staff member. We also operate with £10 million public liability insurance and have full risk assessments (copies of which are available on request). All electrical items are PAT tested for electrical safety.
We will tailor-make each Megawire Buzzwire hire quote to the specifics of an enquiry. The Megawire Buzzwire hire cost is dependent on factors such as your location, length of hire, date of hire and whether or not any other pieces of equipment are being hired for the same event, etc.
The quote we send to you is all-inclusive so there are no hidden extras to be wary of.
Give us a call or send an e-mail and we can check your desired date(s) for availability and give you a quote. When you are ready to confirm, we will send out a booking form, complete with the booking terms and conditions to check over. Once filled in, please return it to us along with payment. We take a 25% deposit to secure a booking date and the balance is due 1 month before the hire date. Then sit back and count down the days until we arrive!
Staff uniform can certainly be tailored to advertise a chosen product or event and if you do have any other specific ideas please do get in touch and we can see how we can help! This is also a large flat panel on the game underneath the metal frame that can be branded if required.
Although we are based in the South East, we will travel anywhere to do an event. However, if it is very far from our base, the price will reflect this. Primarily our Megawire Buzzwire attends events held in East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Essex, Berkshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London.
