Pixel Play Electronic Games Hire

Description

Our Pixel Play is a NEW exciting electronic game that has just arrived with us at Altitude Events.  Pixel Play is a 1 or 2 player electronic game which offers a choice of 4 different fun games.  We think Pixel Play is THE perfect activity for Christmas Parties, Evening Events, Black Tie Dinners, Parties, Weddings and just about everything else in between!  Additionally, Pixel Play game hire is also popular for Exhibition Stands or at Trade Shows because with a bright LED screen, no one will walk past without wanting to stop at your stand to play!

The 4 games on offer on Pixel Play are as follows:

1 – PIXEL PYTHONS
Pythons is a game similar in style to the old classis Nokia Snakes games.  Feed the python to grow larger without crashing into the walls, yourself the other player!

2 – PIXEL PIECES
Pieces is a game similar to the classic Tetris games.  Players must line up falling blocks of different shapes to make complete horizontal lines.

3 – PIXEL PADDLES
Paddles is a game similar to Atari Pong.  Players move their paddles up and down to redirect the ball back to their opponents half of the game.

4 – PIXEL PAINT
Create a Pixel Paint masterpiece. Select your color and use the joystick button to place the pixel wherever you see fit.

What areas do you cover and what do you require to book Pixel Play?

Altitude Events are based on the Surrey/Sussex border and offer Electronic and Interactive Games hire throughout the Southeast.  We cover East Sussex, West Sussex, Kent, Surrey, London, Hampshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Essex.  All hire packages include a member of staff, £10 million PLI and risk assessments.

The game is self contained on its own stand and requires an area 8’2″ x 8’2″ x 6’6″/2.5m x 2.5m x 2m.  The games are suitable for both adults or children (provided they are tall enough to reach the controls).  The game requires a normal 13amp mains power supply and can be set up either indoors or outside (in a gazebo).  As with all of our whole range of Electronic Games Hire all electrical equipment is PAT tested.

About Pixel Play

How many people can play Pixel Play?

Pixel Play is a two player game and it can also be played solo if required.

Can anyone use Pixel Play?

Players must be able to reach all the buttons/controls to play.  Realistically this means around 6 or 7yrs and above.  Anyone deemed to be in an ‘unfit’ state to play due to the influence of alcohol or drugs may be turned away.

Does Pixel Play have different game modes and options?

Pixel Play has 4 different game modes – Pixel Pythons (Nokia Snake), Pixel Pieces (Tetris), Pixel Paddles (Atari Pong) and Pixel Paint (a drawing game).

What you need

Can Pixel Play be used outside?

Yes it can but we will need to put it in a gazebo to protect it from the weather.  It will also need access to mains power as well.

Can Pixel Play be used indoors?

Yes Pixel Play is suitable for Indoor events.  It requires 3m x 3m of space with 2m headroom.  The unit is large and awkward to carry so please let us know whether there are long distances to carry it or any steps/stairs/lifts/doorways etc to navigate with the equipment as complicated set up routes may increase set up time or require additional staff which will increase the hire costs.

Does Pixel Play require a power supply?

Yes, Pixel Play requires one mains power socket.

Do I need to supply anything or does Pixel Play come with everything it needs?

Other than providing an area to set up on, we supply everything required to run the game, including cables and operator.

How long does the Pixel Play take to set up?

Depending on ease of access, Pixel Play will take our staff approximately 20mins to set up.

Safety

Does Pixel Play come with someone to run the activity?

Yes, our staff will remain with the game throughout your event. They will give all players a briefing of how the game works and run each game for you, recording scores where necessary.

How safe is Pixel Play?

Our games are run by fully trained, experienced staff member. We also operate with £10 million public liability insurance and have full risk assessments (copies of which are available on request). All electrical items are PAT tested for electrical safety.

Prices/Options

How much does it cost to hire Pixel Play?

We will tailor make each Pixel Play hire quote to the specifics of an enquiry. The Pixel Play hire cost is dependent on factors such as your location, length of hire, date of hire and whether or not any other pieces of equipment are being hired for the same event, etc.

Are there any additional costs?

The quote we send to you is all inclusive so there are no hidden extras to be wary of.

How do I book?

Give us a call or send an e-mail and we can check your desired date(s) for availability and give you a quote. When you are ready to confirm, we will send out a booking form, complete with the booking terms and conditions to check over. Once filled in, please return it to us along with payment.  We take a 25% deposit to secure a booking date and the balance is due 1 month before the hire date. Then sit back and count down the days until we arrive!

Are there options to customize our hire to advertise a product or event?

Staff uniform can certainly be tailored to advertise a chosen product or event and if you do have any other specific ideas please do get in touch and we can see how we can help!  You could easily use branded table cloths on both of the 2 tables for the game as well.

How far will Altitude travel for an event?

Although we are based in the South East, we will travel anywhere to do an event.  However, if it is very far from our base, the price will reflect this. Primarily our Pixel Play attends events held in East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Essex, Berkshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and London.  Please contact us for further information if this is something that you would be interested in.
